Leaf Hound - Growers Of Mushroom [1971]

Great riff-bases hard rock with elements of blues and progressive.
If you love early Led Zeppelin,Black Sabbath, and other great 60/70 hard rock bands you would love this record.
It's sad that the record company waited a year to release this LP in 1971 since this was recorded in 1970. The band split between those dates so they didn't tour to support the album and no one bought it.
It's also recommended for all live records fans because this album was recorded in 11 hours studio marathon... so it sounds almost live.

Rock n roll presents:

1- Freelance Fiend
2- Sad Road To The Sea
3- Drowned My Life In Fear
4- Work My Body
5- Stray
6- With A Minute To Go
7- Growers Of Mushroom
8- Stagnant Pool
9- Sawdust Ceasar
10- It's Going To Get Better (Single B-Side) (Bonus)
11- Hip Shaker (Bonus)
12- Too Many Rock'N'Roll Times (Bonus)

This is really cool.

I can't believe there are so many hard rock bands from the 70's that I have never heard of.

My first thought was that they sound like a mixture of Led Zepp & Cream.

This one will be playing in the car for a long time -like it a lot !

What a pity they never continued.

Hi,

Fantastic band selection... If you happen to still be around, please re-upload these albums... They are mostly impossible to find elsewhere... Thanks!
